Well, I guess I'll be the first one to enter a discussion in this group. I am fairly new to ELF cosmetics. I placed my first order probably 2 months ago and my collection is growing. I made a trip to Target on my way home from work this past friday and picked up some of the quad eyeshadows, a powder brush (heard alot of good things about this brush on youtube) and some lipsticks. I also placed an online order last week and should be getting those products later this week...can't wait! When it comes to what products to try, I usually check out youtube for reviews and such. So far there is only one thing I've bought that I don't really care for and that is the shimmer palette. The consistency of the product is too oily for me. It says that you can use it on your lips as well but I haven't done that yet. I did try it as a highlight, but using it on the inner corners of the eye is not a good look in my opinion. It can be clumpy looking if you apply too much. I guess I'm just not a big fan of the wet look.
As for my favorite product so far, I would have to say that the liquid eyeliners are pretty good. I just picked up the waterproof pens but haven't tried them yet. I am a big fan of eyeshadow and I like all of them that I have used so far. I look forward to experimenting more with different looks. I don't have the opportunity to get made up to go out very often so I have only used the daytime looks since getting into ELF. Can't wait to try an evening out look.
